Reverend Raymond Bowers was born and raised in the rural town of Coy, Alabama to the late Sister Lillie Bowers and Bro. Robert Bowers Sr. He is the ninth child of twelve. He took an interest in music while in high school and earned a music scholarship to Alabama A. & M. University in Huntsville, Alabama in 1987 where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in music. He is married to the devoted Sister Tamecca Bowers has four beautiful daughters: Jaliah, Raykenia, Jamerial and Lillian.

After relocating from Historic Selma, Alabama to Georgia in 2006, Rev. Bowers joined Flipper Chapel A.M.E Church in Fayetteville, Georgia where he received his call to ministry. Later, he enrolled into Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Ga., received his Master of Divinity Degree, and served as Youth pastor at Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church. Reverend Bowers has served at pastor of Oak Grove AME Church in Lagrange, Georgia, Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Mt. Carmel AME Church in Atlanta Georgia. and is presently the pastor of Greater Saint Peters AME Church of Jonesboro, GA.

 Rev. Bowers believes that as members of the body of Christ, we should exercise our faith, obedience, and ability to love.
